A nutritious breakfast as a source of energy for the whole day

What morning, so all day!

There is a theory that the first hour after waking up determines what our entire day will be like. If we start the day nervously, with a bad attitude, it will be difficult for us to make the day count as “nice” later. However, we have several ways to make our mornings much nicer and we would love to share them with you!

At the outset, it should be noted that a nutritious breakfast is the key to a successful day. Including aronia in your menu in the form of fruit or BIO juice you will provide the necessary dose of antioxidants – so essential in the diet of each of us. Setting consecutive naps, between which we have about 10 minutes of sleep, causes a sudden production of cortisol – stress hormone. This leads to a greater feeling of fatigue and difficulty concentrating. So try to get up right after the first alarm clock, what will help you with it is…

… morning stretching.

In order for your body to safely get up after a night of rest, try to warm it up a little. Before you get out of bed, slowly sit on it, clasp your hands together and extend them high above your head. Thanks to this, you will stimulate your body to act, stretch your muscles and warm up your joints. Also, do not forget to warm up your facial muscles, which will help you with a wide smile! If you still have some time, you can do a light warm-up already outside the bed, and if not …

… take a cold shower.

Although hot baths are very pleasant, let’s reserve them for autumn evenings. We should choose a cool shower for morning hygiene. Thanks to this our body will get an energy boost, we will feel more energized and we will get rid of the feeling of “heaviness” in our legs, which sometimes accompanies us after a night’s rest.

And most importantly – eat a nutritious breakfast.

There is a reason why it is said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. It provides energy for the entire morning and also affects the work of our digestive system, which is the most active in the morning. Additionally, by raising blood glucose levels (after dropping at night), it allows us to think more clearly and concentrate more easily. Eating breakfast at home on a regular basis also helps prevent many diseases, ranging from obesity and high blood sugar to heart and metabolic diseases.

We should also remember that breakfast should be valuable – rich in nutrients. In addition, it is worth adding to the meal products with proven health-promoting properties of high quality like aronia berries which make the first meal of the day a real vitamin bomb that will help us to*:

  • lower blood pressure,
  • fight free radicals that contribute to skin aging and the emergence of some civilization diseases,
  • regenerate your eyesight before working at the monitor and improve visual acuity,
  • lower blood glucose levels.

You can use our recipe for a healthy breakfast, which is:

Yoghurt with homemade muesli with nuts and aronia.

To prepare them, we need:

  • natural yoghurt – 1 package,
  • 3 tablespoons of oatmeal,
  • nuts,
  • honey,
  • organic aronia fruit or organic aronia juice.

The preparation is very simple – pour oatmeal into a saucepan and add two teaspoons of honey, mix and heat it until the flakes are golden. Then, put them into a bowl, sprinkle with nuts and aronia and pour natural yoghurt over everything.

If we do not have aronia fruits at hand, we can replace them with organic aronia juice, which will give our muesli a beautiful color and enrich them with vitamins and polyphenols.

Such quick and delicious breakfast will also be a source of many nutrients. Natural yogurt will provide us with proteins, oatmeal is an excellent source of dietary fiber, nuts will provide us with healthy fats. Thanks to the aronia berries or aronia juice our breakfast will gain the power of vitamins and antioxidants, as well as a great taste.
